Adelboden sits in the region of Frutigen in the south of Switzerland. The village is situated on a natural terrace overlooking the Engstlige waterfalls, 1350 meters above sea level. Considered to be one of the most difficult and traditional GS races in Alpine skiing, the men’s FIS Ski World Cup has made a number of appearances here at one of Switzerland’s much loved resorts. The course requires immense technical skill and can put the most experienced skiers through their paces.
