The Tour of Belgium is a five-day bicycle race which is held annually in Belgium. It was held annually between 1908 and 1981, except during both world wars. Between 1982 and 1990 several of races were not organized and none at all during the decade 1991 to 2001. From 2002 onwards the race has again become an annual fixture on the cycling calendar.

Usain Bolt will compete for the third time in a row at Rome’s Golden Gala, the fifth leg of the 2013 IAAF Diamond League. The 2013 Golden Gala edition will be entitled to Pietro Mennea. Mennea competed three times at the Golden Gala, winning twice in the 200m, in 1980 and 1983.

Usain Bolt will return to Oslo, Norway and the ExxonMobil Bislett Games where he will be competing in the 200m. Renaud Lavillenie, who recently won his third consecutive title of European indoor champion, has confirmed his presence at the Pontaise stadium. This 38th edition will also feature the best Swiss athletes. Lead by the women’s 4x100m, which broke the national record in 2011, and Irène Pusterla, long jump Swiss record holder, and Lea Sprunger, Olympian and European championships semi finalist in the 200m, and who is from the Lausanne area.
