Takahashi starts 3rd at World Championships
Daisuke Takahashi (JPN) finished the short program with a score of 85.72. 1.95 out of 2nd place.

Finland Team 1 wins their 7th World title, in the 13 year history, edging out Team Canada 1 by .52 points. Team USA 1 was 3rd and USA 2 was 8th.
After the short program, Team Canada 1 leads over Team USA 1 by .97 points.
The “Queen” is back, despite her 18 month absence from competing, the 2009 World Champ and 2010 Olympic champ Kim Yuna (KOR) is the World champ yet again! With 218.31 points, Yuna won over 2012 champ Carolina Kostner (ITA) by 20.42 and Moa Asada (JPN) came in 3rd.
