The 16 year old phenom Mary Cain finished with a time of 5:05.68, winning the race by nearly a second. Cain waited until the last 200m to pull away from the pack and easily take this race.
Unfortunately the Olympic champ Aries Merritt (USA) pulls out of the race and Jason Richardson (USA) takes the win
The Indoor champ Genzebe Dibaba (ETH) gets the win at 14:45.92 with a strong final lap over Olympic champ Meseret Defar (ETH), winning by 1.84 seconds.
Olympic bronze medalist Warren Weir (JAM) gets the win at 20.18 seconds, and Justin Gatlin (USA) (Doha’s 100m winner) just edges in to 2nd place over Jason Young (JAM), by .01 seconds at 20.21.
