Gillian Carleton (CAN) finished with the best time of 35.510 beating 2nd Place Annette Edmondson (AUS) by .020. American Sarah Hammer went on to win the overall event.
In the the gold medal race it was Stefan Botticher (GER) against Denis Dmitriev (RUS). Botticher beat Dmitriev in two sprints to earn his 2nd gold medal of the competition. Botticher took gold in the team sprints earlier this week.
Sarah Hammer finished the competition with 20 points in an emotional victory. Hammer also won gold in the individual pursuit on Wednesday.
