2013 Speed Skating Short Track World Championships: Men’s 500m: Wenhao wins
Liang Wenhao (CHN) finished with a winning time of 41.905, beating out 2nd place Victor An (RUS). Wenhao finished 9th in the event last year.

Finland Team 1 wins their 7th World title, in the 13 year history, edging out Team Canada 1 by .52 points. Team USA 1 was 3rd and USA 2 was 8th.
After the short program, Team Canada 1 leads over Team USA 1 by .97 points.
Canada’s three year winning streak has ended, as the European champs Sweden get the win 8-6.
