The 2011 Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie white (USA) defeat Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir (CAN) (2010, 2012 Champions) by 4.52 points, with a world record 189.56 points.
Despite some mistakes, Patrick Chan (CAN) successfully defends his world title, scoring five points lower than Denis Ten (KAZ) in the Free, but winning overall by 1.3 points.
