The 46th Biathlon World Championships will be held in Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic. There will be a total of 11 competitions: sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start and relay races for both men and women, and a mixed relay.
Finland Team 1 wins their 7th World title, in the 13 year history, edging out Team Canada 1 by .52 points. Team USA 1 was 3rd and USA 2 was 8th.
After the short program, Team Canada 1 leads over Team USA 1 by .97 points.
Canada’s three year winning streak has ended, as the European champs Sweden get the win 8-6.
