2013 FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup: Zagreb: Slalom: Maze out
World Cup leader Tina Maze (SLO) got her first DNF in 24 races, breaking her six-in-a-row podium streak. Maze continues to lead the WC by over 500 points.
World Cup leader Tina Maze (SLO) got her first DNF in 24 races, breaking her six-in-a-row podium streak. Maze continues to lead the WC by over 500 points.
Debuting in 2005, the race piste starts at 985 meters and ends at 785 meters, and is the biggest women’s race of the World Cup attracting some fifteen to twenty thousand spectators. (Full event replay)
Marcel Hirscher (AUT) became the first man to win two slalom races at Zagreb, finishing with a time of 1:56.17. Hirscher leads the overall slalom standings with 420 points.
Mario Matt (AUT) earned his first slalom podium of the season, finishing with a time of 1:57.26, .52 seconds out of second place.
