Marcel Hirscher (AUT) finished with a time of 1:44.34, beating Neureuther by .77. Hirscher is the first Austrian to win this event here since 2005. He is the overall leader as well as the Slalom leader.
The Streif — considered to be one of the hardest slopes in the world cup — may be the focal point for spectators and media in the Super-G and Downhill, but the Ganslern comes into its’ own on the last day of the Hahnenkamm Weekend.
