Mikaela Shiffrin finished 11 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor in Flachau. At a race of this caliber, an ordinary margin of victory would have been measured in tenths of a second, if not hundredths.
Though it didn’t appear to be a difficult terrain, there were a surprising number of unexpected mistakes happening during the 2013 Alpine World Cup in Flachau.
