The 5-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte (USA) looked to have the race won with just 50 meters to go, but was passed by Ricky Berens and Michael Klueh. Lochte’s final time was 1:50.19.
After losing in the 100m breaststroke earlier, Ryan Lochte made it look easy during the 200IM as he cruised to the finish with a time of 2:00.98.
In a race where Missy Franklin was the clear favorite to win, Karlee Bispo pulled out the surprise victory, finishing with a time of 2:12.49. Bispo also won the 100 IM earlier in the day.
After a victory Saturday in the 200m backstroke, Matt Grevers took home another win for the Americans, finishing with a time of 53.75.
