2012 USA Olympics Track and Field Trials: Evan Jager wins Steeplechase
In the Men’s Steeplechase, Jager gets the national title at 8:17.40, and will be join at the Olympic games by Donald Cabral and Kyle Alcorn.

In the first Diamond League of the season Gatlin (USA) gets the win at 9.97 seconds, .02 over Michael Rodgers (USA). Nesta Carter (JAM) was 3rd at 9.99 as well.
The two time Olympic 100m champ Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce picks up the first 200m win of the new season over fellow Jamaican Sherone Simpson at 22.48 by .25 seconds.
In the final lap, Hagos Gebrhiwet (ETH) crushed the field by 1.65 seconds to get the first win of the season with a World Leading time of 7:30.36.
