In the Men’s Downhill at Bormio, Thomas Biesemeyer (USA) gets tossed into the air and lands hard. Luckily he was able to ski away.
Hannes Reichelt (AUT) and Dominik Paris (ITA) were joint winners at 1:58.62 in the closest finish to an Alpine skiing World Cup downhill, with only 0.02 seconds separating the top four in Bormio on Saturday.
24-year-old Travis Ganong (USA) scored his first top ten finish in the World Cup, taking 7th, .48 seconds off the podium.
