Ted Ligety’s (USA) final time was 2:37.27, beating Marcel Hirscher by an astounding 2.04 seconds, the biggest margin of victory at Alta Badia. Ligety has been on the podium for all four GS races this season and has three first place finishes.
Massimiliano Blardone (ITA) was trying to put together an amazing second run to beat Ted Ligety, but in the process he got too greedy with his turns and turned wide into a gate that sent him to the ground.
