July 28, 2011: Ryan Lochte edges Michael Phelps for gold while setting a new world record in a thrilling men’s 200m IM final at the 2011 Swimming Worlds Championships.
The 31 year old Anthony Erwin managed to pull off another win today, finishing with a winning time of 49.14. Erwin won the 50m freestyle in yesterday’s competition.
Megan Romano finished with a winning time of 55.24, picking up her 3rd win in Charlotte. Shannon Vreeland finished in 2nd place.
Kaitlin Harty finished with a winning time of 2:10.38, beating her personal best time by 4 seconds. Megan Romano finished in 2nd place.
