May 15, 2011: China’s Liu Xiang stuns American David Oliver to win the men’s 110m hurdles at the Diamond League meet in Shanghai.
Three more Olympic gold medallists and one world champion have been added to the star-studded roster for the 2013 Shanghai Diamond League meeting.
To the cheers of the home crowd, Xiang (CHN) sets a meet record with the win at 12.97, beating former record holder David Oliver (USA) by .16 seconds.
In a race with Choge, bekele and Longosiwa, Gebrhiwet (ETH) gets the win at 13:11.00 to get the first Diamond League points.
