2011 Diamond League Brussels: Blake runs WL in 200m
Sept. 16, 2011: Jamaica’s Yohan Blake runs a world-leading 19.26 in the men’s 200m, good for the second-fastest time in history.
Sept. 16, 2011: Jamaica’s Yohan Blake runs a world-leading 19.26 in the men’s 200m, good for the second-fastest time in history.
In the Women’s High Jump, Svetlana Shkolina (RUS) beat both Anna Chicherova, the Olympic Champ and the Diamond League Title winner, Chaunte Lowe (USA,) in the final.
In the final Women’s 200m, the regular stars didn’t come out, allowing Myriam Soumare (FRA) to get the win at 22.63 seconds, while Charonda Williams scored enough in 3rd to win the DL Title.
Merritt talks about breaking the 110m hurdles World Record and winning the Diamond League.
