Ethiopian Lelisa Desisa won the 2013 Men’s Race of the Boston Marathon with a final time of 2:10.22. Desisa traveled in a pack of 3 men during the final mile of the race, but was able to pull away to get the victory.

Kenyan Jemima Jelagat was a clear favorite at the start of the race, and lead for the majority of it. Jelagat finished with a personal best time of 2:23:27, beating out second place Ethiopian Abebech Afework.
