Mario Stecher (AUT) lost to Lamy-Chappuis by just a couple of inches after leading throughout most the race. Stecher was 2nd after the ski jump and finished the 10km with a time of 29.13.4.
With the final 3 skiers separated by .3 seconds at the finish, its was Olympic champ Jason Lamy-Chappuis (FRA) who pulled away with the victory. Chappuis was 11th after the ski jump and started 1:13 behind.
The 18 year Sarah Hendrickson finished with a score of 253.7 to best 2nd place Sara Takanashi. Hendrickson was very familiar with the hill and holds the record for best distance with 108m.
