American Jenn Suhr cleared a mark of 16 feet 5 1/2 inches, breaking the record previously held by Yelena Isinbayeva. This is the first time an American has held the record since 2003.

As the six time world champ, two times Olympic champ and World Record holder Yelena Isinbayeva (RUS) slipped to 3rd place, the Beijing silver medalist Jennifer Suhr (USA) takes the gold medal, clearing 4.75 meters.
Nineteen year-old Angelica Bengtsson (SWE) claims her second junior title (2010, 2012) with a championship record at 4.50 meters.
Walker will lead the Americans Jeremy Scott and Derek Miles, to London, after clearing 5.67 meters.
