Marcel Hirscher (AUT) finished with a time of 1:44.34, beating Neureuther by .77. Hirscher is the first Austrian to win this event here since 2005. He is the overall leader as well as the Slalom leader.

Dominik Paris (ITA) was a huge surprise on the day, finishing with a time of 1:57.56. Paris did not finish his run in Friday’s Super G, but was the winner of the Downhill in Austria on Saturday.

Matthias Mayer (AUT) gave the home crowd something to cheer about, getting his first World Cup podium. He now ranks second in Super G as well.
American Ted Ligety finishes .43 seconds off the podium. However, he still maintains his overall third place ranking in the World Cup.
