Frida Hansdotter (SWE) still looks for her first World Cup win. She’s now scored three 2nd place finishes in Slalom this season, ranking her 9th overall.
In the past 10 races, World Cup leader Tina Maze has only been off the podium three times, Today she landed in 5th, .3 seconds off the podium.
Celebrations will be especially intensive at the Flachau snow space Ladies’ Ski Night this January – after all, Flachau is all set for a double anniversary. Firstly, the 20th Ladies’ Night Slalom will be the 20th World Cup competition to be held at the Salzburg winter sports center. Secondly, Flachau has now been organizing the FIS Ski World Cup for exactly 20 years.

Mikaela Shiffrin finished 11 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor in Flachau. At a race of this caliber, an ordinary margin of victory would have been measured in tenths of a second, if not hundredths.
