It’s the end of the season and Pavel Kharitonov (RUS), Stephanie Magiros (AUS), Kim-Rune Hansen (NOR) and Nikita Avtaneev (RUS) end it with some brusies, here’s hoping they are all better for next year.
Going into his 2nd run, Tyler Nicholson (CAN) was determined to beat his first round score of 18.50. Nicholson ran into trouble as he lost control on a jump causing him to land hard on his side.
Niklas Mattsson (SWE) took a hard crash in his 1st run, slamming his helmet against the snow. Mattsson was able to ride away but still looked a bit shaken up as he did not compete in run 2. .

Racing in the Men’s’ qauterfinal Tomas Kraus (CZE) lost control on a jump and was sent to the ground hard. Kraus was later taken to a hospital. The heat winner John Teller (USA) took 3rd overall at the championships.
Katrin Ofner (AUT) was sent to the ground hard after Katrin Mueller (SUI) bumped into him. Mueller finished the race in second place but was later disqualified because of the bump.
One the skaters from the Netherlands team took a hard crash into the wall after skating too close to another skater. Luckily, he was able to walk away unassisted.
Racing in the 3rd heat of the men’s quarter finals, skaters Charles Hamelin and Viktor Knoch collided into one another during a turn and were sent into the wall hard. Soon after, Victor An and Sjinkie Knegt collided at the finish line
Marianne St-Gelais (CAN) went down in the Women’s final heat of the 500m. Wang Meng (CHN) went on to win the race.
In the second run of the Giant Slalom, a gate slaps Fritz Dopfer’s (GER) googles off his face, blinding him. As he tries to fix it, wham!, right into the netting.
Racing in the Men’s 1500m, Roberto Pukitis (LAT) and Victor Knoch (HUN) collided into one another sending each other into the wall. Niels Kerstholt went on to win the heat.
American Jessica Smith went down at the finish line of the Women’s 1500m Semifinal. Smith looked like she lost her balance and took a hard fall face first.
Valerie Maltais (CAN) went down in the final heat after it looked like she might of been tripped from behind. Maltais finished 5th in the heat after Zhou Yang was penalized.
They got into the finals, but then they kissed snow on their landing. Luckily they all walked away ok.
16 year old Aaron Blunck looked like he was putting together a wining run until he lost his balance after his final trick and hit the ground hard. Blunck would finish 6th in the competition.
Marie Martinod (FRA) crashed in her 2nd run after hitting the top of the halfpipe and loosing a ski. Martinod was able to walk away under her own power and finished 5th overall.

32 year Marco Sullivan (USA) crashed midway through the course, causing him to slide hit into the netting. Sullivan was able to get u after the crash and ski away.
