Alexander Zubkov (RUS) has been unstoppable thus far, racking up a hat trick of wins and finishing with a time of 1:43.29. Holcomb has won 3 straight in 2-man but can’t seem to get past Zubkov in the 4-man.
Steve Holcomb (USA) was unable to pull out his usual magic, as he finished with a time of 1:43.89, landing .60 seconds out of first. He sits in 2nd place with 612 points.
USA 3, piloted by Cory Butner, took a hard crash into the wall and was disqualified when passenger Nicholas Taylor ejected himself in a panic during the crash. This crash came soon after a crash from Belgium.
