Tatyania Mcfadden (USA) blew away the competition while finishing with a time of 1:47.01. Mcfadden also won the gold in the 400m earlier in the Games.
The RSA, lead by Oscar Pistorius, defeated the champion USA team and set a new world record – with a time of 41.78
