2013 World Combat Games: Women’s Karate Kumite -68kg: Mahmoud wins

Fatma Alzahraa Mahmoud (EGY) won in a hard fought fight over Inga Sheroziia (RUS). The two looked evenly matched throughout the entire fight, but Mahmoud was able to get two quick strikes that earned her the 2-0 victory.

Marillela Arreola Ferreyra (MEX) beat opponent Kristina Noelle Mah (AUS) 1-0. Ferreyra seemed to control the pace of the fight as she dodged several of her opponents attacks with ease.
