Need a basketball fix after the NBA Finals ended in June? The top amateur basketball players from across the country will compete in AAU games on August 1 at 3 PM ET on Universal Sports. Here are some of the names, and future stars, to look out for.

KC RUN GMC from Olathe, KS vs. BABC (Boston Amateur Basketball Club) from Boston, MA

Terance Mann of BABC will not only command your eyeballs, but those of schools such as Florida, Iowa State and Maryland, three of the schools that have already offered him a collegiate scholarship. ESPN has the Class of 2015 shooting guard listed as a four-star prospect. Mann will be taking on Kevin Puryear and Blaise Gammon, two other players who are generating Division 1 interest. Puryear has been offered scholarships from Oklahoma State, Nebraska and Creighton, while Gammon has received interest from Saint Louis, Utah State and Dayton.

Team Charlotte from Charlotte, NC vs. All Ohio Red from Richmond, IN

All Ohio Red’s big man, four-star power forward Esa Ahmad, has piqued the interest of many collegiate scouts. Rated as a top-10 power forward in the Class of 2015, Ahmad has received scholarships from basketball powerhouses such as Indiana, Wisconsin and UNLV. Teammate Ahmad Wagner has scholarship offers from Iowa and Minnesota. Team Charlotte is coached by former UNC star Jeff McInnis, who will have to come up with a solid strategy to stop All Ohio Red’s dynamic duo.

The Ville from Louisville, KY vs. Albany City Rocks from Troy, NY

The AAU National Championship 17U will be headlined by two power forwards that should light up the ACC for years to come. The Ville’s Raymond Spalding is ranked by ESPN as a four-star prospect. The #22-ranked power forward in the Class of 2015 has already committed to Louisville. On the opposing side, power forward Elijah Burns, who has committed to Notre Dame, will be matched up with Spalding throughout the game. Burns and three-star point guard Sterling Taplin are a very good inside-outside tandem for the Albany City Rocks.
