Park City Will Host 2019 FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships

Park City, Utah (USA) was unanimously elected as host of the 2019 FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships.

Park City was the only place which bid for the 2019 FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships. It had previously hosted the ski and snowboard events in the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics. This will be the first time that the World Snowboarding Championships will be held in the United States.

Are (SWE) was elected as the host of the 2019 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. Oberstdorf (GER) was picked as the location for the 2018 FIS Ski Flying World Championships.

The U.S. will also get to host the 2015 World Alpine Skiing Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek, Colo.
