Val d’Isere Super-G falls victim to snowfall

VAL D’ISERE, France, Dec 15 (Reuters) – The women’s World Cup Super-G scheduled to take place at Val d’Isere on Saturday was called off due to heavy snowfall.
With snow falling overnight and storms continuing into Saturday morning, organizers deemed it impossible to hold the race at the scheduled time of 0945 GMT.
There was no immediate announcement on plans to reschedule the event.
